Two national award winning movies Athiti directed by P.Sheshadri & Children of heaven directed by Majeed majid was shown in this art movie festival on 27-12-08 & 28-12-08 respectively.
The show was specially organized fir village people who have come out of their normal village life &have adjusted to the modern changes in the present society
This art movie festival was organized to bring awareness of art movie among people & inspire people to watch such art movies. Even the people of kanakamajal have come in a large unexpected number & watched the movie & have expressed their joy.
“A child fight at home to go to see the movie & after the film start he fights again to go back home because there is no fighting scenes in the movie”
